Abhijeet dipke letter to PM Modi
New Delhi: The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has intensified its campaign over the ongoing NEET examination controversy, demanding financial assistance for families of students who allegedly died by suicide amid the paper leak crisis. In an open letter addressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke urged the Centre to provide compensation of ₹1 crore to each affected family.
Dipke claimed that 11 NEET aspirants had died by suicide over the past week, including five reported deaths within just 48 hours. Referring to these incidents, he said the government must take immediate steps to support grieving families and address the growing concerns surrounding the examination process.
“We demand that your administration release a compensation amount of one crore rupees to all families who have suffered from a suicide due to the compounding crisis of paper leaks,” Dipke wrote in his letter.
The CJP founder argued that many families had invested significant resources in their children's education, often relying on loans to fund coaching classes and exam preparation.
“In pursuit of a better future, many had taken out massive educational loans to support their children's dreams, that were cruelly shattered by systemic failures,” Dipke stated.
According to him, the emotional and financial burden on families has increased due to uncertainty surrounding the examination and allegations of paper leaks.
Dipke further said that anxiety among students and parents has intensified as the re-examination approaches. He claimed that the lack of clarity and continuing controversy have added to the stress faced by NEET aspirants across the country.
The demand comes amid a broader debate over the handling of the NEET examination process and concerns raised by students, parents, and education stakeholders regarding transparency and fairness in competitive entrance exams.
The Centre has not yet issued an official response to the compensation demand raised by the Cockroach Janta Party.
