NEET UG 2026 Fee Refund Window Closes
New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the NEET UG 2026 fee refund bank account verification window today. Eligible candidates who have not yet verified or updated their bank details must complete the process before the deadline to ensure a smooth refund of excess examination fees.
Over 8.29 Lakh Candidates Complete Verification
According to official data, more than 8.29 lakh candidates have already confirmed their bank account details on the official portal. The verification is mandatory for the refund to be credited directly through electronic bank transfer.
The refund is meant for candidates who made duplicate or excess payments during the NEET UG 2026 application process due to multiple transactions or technical issues.
- Made duplicate or multiple payments during registration.
- Paid the application fee more than once due to transaction failures.
- Were notified by the NTA that they qualify for a refund.
Only candidates identified by the NTA will receive the refund after successful bank verification.
1. Visit the official NEET UG/NTA portal.
2. Log in using the Application Number and Password/Date of Birth.
3. Click on the Fee Refund/Bank Account Verification link.
4. Enter the required bank account details, including the account holder's name, account number and IFSC code.
5. Verify the details carefully and submit the form.
6. Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.

3. Logging in with the Application Number and Password/Date of Birth.
4. Downloading and printing the scorecard for future admission processes.

3. Log in using your credentials.
4. Download the provisional or final answer key and compare it with your response sheet.
Candidates who have not completed bank verification should do so before the window closes today. Missing the deadline could delay the refund process. Students are also advised to download and keep copies of their re-exam scorecard, answer key and confirmation page, as these documents may be required during counselling and admission.
