Parliament Attack Anniversary 2001: PM Modi leads the Nation in paying tribute to fallen heroes

The Nation today on the Parliament Attack Anniversary remembers the utmost sacrifices of brave security personnel who laid their lives for the country.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday paid tribute to the security personnel who lost their lives in the 2001 Parliament terror attack.

PM Modi took to social media X and wrote, "On this day, our nation remembers those who laid down their lives during the heinous attack on our Parliament in 2001. In the face of grave danger, their courage, alertness and unwavering sense of duty were remarkable. India will forever remain grateful for their supreme sacrifice."

 

Leader of Opposition (LoP) Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi also paid tribute to 2001 Parliament attack martyrs. Rahul Gandhi arrived at Parliament Complex and offered floral tribute to fallen Heros.

He wrote on X, ‘We offer our heartfelt tributes and deepest respect to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives defending the honour of the Nation during the audacious terrorist attack on the Parliament House in 2001. India will forever remember your sacrifice and will continue to draw inspiration from your patriotism.’

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also paid tribute by remembering the sacrifice of the security personnel and said that the attack was a brutal assault on our sovereignty.
