Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav Launch MDMK General Secretary Vaiko’s book ‘Vaiko in Parliament’

The four-volume collection documenting MDMK General Secretary Vaiko’s parliamentary speeches and legislative work spanning 30 years was released at the Constitution Club of India in New Delhi amid large number of leaders, dignitaries, including seasoned politicians.

New Delhi: Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday jointly launched "Vaiko in Parliament," a four-volume book written by MDMK General Secretary Vaiko.

The four-volume collection documenting Vaiko’s parliamentary speeches and legislative work spanning 30 years was released at the Constitution Club in New Delhi today amid a host of dignitaries, including seasoned politicians.

Speaking on the occasion, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi appreciated Vaiko for his calm demeanour.

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav also shared his feelings during the event. He praised Vaiko for taking up the cause of Tamil people and making efforts for their welfare.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay was also expected to attend the event.

Future Editions

As per Vaiko, Chief Minister Vijay has agreed to release the Tamil version of the book titled "Naadalumandrathil Vaiko" at a future event in Chennai. He said the translation work of the book was ongoing and expected to be over in a month. The specific date, venue, and time of the event, along with the personalities to receive the first copy of the book, would be announced officially later, he added.
