Self-enumeration for Census 2027 has begun in NDMC and Delhi Cantonment areas, allowing residents to submit their data online via app or portal. The move aims to simplify the process, with verification by enumerators scheduled later.

New Delhi: Under the Census of India framework, during the first phase of Census 2027, people will now be able to fill in their personal details online themselves. This facility was launched on April 1st in the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) and Delhi Cantonment areas.
Residents can submit their information using two methods:
After submitting the form, you will receive a Self-Enumeration ID (SE ID), which will be delivered via SMS or email. You must present this specific ID when government enumerators visit your home. If the submitted data matches the records, it will be validated; otherwise, the information will be collected afresh.
In areas falling under the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), this facility will become available between May 1st and May 15th.
