NTA releases NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Admit Cards; Test Scheduled for this date

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit cards for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination, which is scheduled to be held on June 21. Candidates appearing for the re-test can now download their hall tickets from the official NEET website.

How to Download NEET UG Re-Exam Admit Card

Candidates can access their admit cards by logging into the official NEET portal using their application credentials.

Steps to download the admit card:

  • Visit the official website: neet.nta.nic.in
  • Click on the NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Admit Card link
  • Enter the application number and date of birth/password
  • Fill in the security captcha and submit
  • Download and print the admit card for future reference

City Intimation Slip Already Released

Ahead of the admit card release, NTA had issued the city intimation slip, allowing candidates to check the city allotted for their examination centre and make travel arrangements accordingly.

Candidates can download the city slip using their application number and password through the official website.

Enhanced Security Measures for Re-Examination

The June 21 re-examination will be conducted under heightened security arrangements. The Indian Air Force will assist in the transportation and logistics of question papers, while central and state agencies have been tasked with overseeing security at multiple levels.

The measures have been introduced to ensure a fair and transparent examination process following concerns related to the earlier exam.

Exam Duration Increased by 15 Minutes

NTA has also announced certain candidate-friendly changes for the re-exam. Students will receive an additional 15 minutes, extending the total examination duration from 180 minutes to 195 minutes.

The examination will be conducted from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.

Additionally, candidates will be provided with four rough-work pages in the question booklet, compared to two pages previously.

Exam Pattern Remains Unchanged

The NEET UG 2026 re-examination will consist of 180 compulsory questions, including:

  • 45 questions from Physics
  • 45 questions from Chemistry
  • 90 questions from Biology

Candidates have been advised to download their admit cards promptly, review examination guidelines carefully, and keep all necessary documents ready ahead of the test.
