Anantnag: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday carried out search operations at two separate locations in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district as part of an ongoing investigation.
The searches were conducted with the assistance of personnel from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and the Jammu and Kashmir Police, officials said.
According to officials, one NIA team carried out a search operation in the SICOP area of Bijbehara. The operation was conducted with support from local police and security forces deployed in the area.
A separate NIA team also conducted searches at Kreeri village in the Dooru area of Anantnag district.
Officials said the searches were part of an ongoing probe being handled by the central investigation agency. However, the exact case details linked to the operations have not been disclosed so far.
The NIA has not released any official information regarding the nature of the investigation.
So far, there has been no confirmation from officials regarding any arrests or recoveries during the search operations.
