PM Modi asked Shubhanshu Shukla that Shubh (auspicious) is in your name and your journey is also an auspicious (Shubh) beginning of a new era. PM greets him and congratulating him saying that I heartily congratulate you for waving the flag of India in space.
PM Modi asked Shubhanshu Shukla if everything is fine there? Shubhanshu Shukla replied, 'I am absolutely fine. This is a new experience for me. This journey is not only mine, but of the whole country. When I was young, I never thought that I would be able to become an astronaut'.
After this, PM asked Shubhanshu Shukla whether you fed the carrot halwa you took with you to your colleagues? To this, Shubhanshu Shukla smiled and said that I wanted my colleagues to taste it. We all sat together and ate and everyone liked it very much.
PM Modi asked Shubhanshu Shukla that you have got the privilege of orbiting the earth. Which part of the earth are you passing through right now? On this, Shubhanshu Shukla said that just a while ago we were passing over Hawaii. We orbit 16 times a day and see the sunrise 16 times a day.
Shubhanshu Shukla is the second astronaut from India to go to space and the first astronaut of the country to go to the International Space Station. He has reached the ISS for the Axiom mission. Astronauts from Poland, Hungary and America are also with him.
This flight of Shubhanshu Shukla is a new beginning for India. While ISRO is already making the country proud with missions like Chandrayaan and Gaganyaan, now, with private and international cooperation, Indian scientists and travelers are getting opportunities on the global stage. This journey of Shubhanshu will prove to be inspirational for the generations to come.
