Poonch: Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat conducted a detailed security review in Poonch on Monday, taking stock of ongoing counter-terror operations and the preparedness of security forces deployed across the sensitive border district.
Prabhat was accompanied by Jammu Zone Inspector General of Police Tejinder Singh during his visit. Senior police officers briefed the DGP about the prevailing security situation, recent developments and operations aimed at tracking suspected terrorists in the region.
The review comes amid heightened vigilance across the Pir Panjal belt, where security agencies remain alert to possible infiltration attempts and suspected movement of Pakistan-based terror networks.
