Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's health has suddenly deteriorated. He has been admitted to the hospital after the advice of doctors. His health was not good for the last two days. He was resting at home with medicines, but when there was no improvement in the condition, he had to be taken to the hospital today.

Earlier yesterday, he was to visit Sultanpur Lodhi along with Aam Aadmi Party's national convenor Arvind Kejriwal. Many villages in this area are affected by floods. But he could not go due to ill health. Arvind Kejriwal had reached Chief Minister Mann's official residence on Thursday to inquire about his health.
Punjab is battling severe floods, in which the death toll has risen to 43 and till Thursday 1.71 lakh hectares of agricultural land has been damaged.
