Puri: Jagannath Rath Yatra, also known as the Puri Rath Yatra, Chariot Festival or Shree Gundicha Yatra, will be held on Friday, 27 June.
It is a major Hindu festival celebrated annually in Puri, Odisha.
The main procession, where the deities Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra are taken on their chariots from the Jagannath Temple to the Gundicha Temple.
The festival takes place on Dwitiya Tithi, the second day of the bright phase (Shukla Paksha) of the lunar month, considered spiritually auspicious due to the increasing brightness of the moon.
