New Delhi: Continuing his attack on the Modi Government, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Friday alleged that ‘India’s foreign policy has collapsed’ and demanded to know “who asked Trump to mediate between India and Pakistan”.

Rahul Gandhi On X

He tagged a video of an interview by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to a foreign TV channel on his X platform and asked, “Why has India been hyphenated with Pakistan? Why didn’t a single country back us in condemning Pakistan? Who asked Trump to “mediate” between India & Pakistan?”

“India’s foreign policy has collapsed,” Rahul alleged.

On Thursday, the former Congress president hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi calling his speeches as "hollow".

Rahul Gandhi Accused PM Modi

Rahul Gandhi also accused PM Modi of "compromising the hounour of India".

He asked, "Just tell me: Why did you believe Pakistan's statement on terrorism? Why did you sacrifice India's interests by bowing to Trump? Why does your blood boil only in front of cameras?"

“You have compromised the honour of India!,” he alleged.

Rahul To Visit Poonch

Rahul Gandhi will visit Poonch in the Jammu region on Saturday to meet the families of those killed and affected by the recent Pakistani shelling, AICC general secretary Jairam Ramesh said.

This will be the second visit of Gandhi, the leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha, to Jammu and Kashmir after the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack in which 25 tourists and one local were killed.

Indian Army Helped

Earlier, the Indian Army stepped in to help with emergency assistance in storm-hit areas. Schools located close to the Line of Control (LoC), especially in Gagrian and Sawjian villages, suffered serious structural damage. Schools in the Mandi zone also had their roofs blown away due to the strong winds.

“Schools in our Mandi zone have suffered a lot due to the storms here… The high school here suffered the most and is located very close to the LoC. The roofs of the schools have completely blown away which has created a lot of problems for our students and staff,” said a school staff member.
