New Delhi: Today is the last day to file nominations for the 2026 Rajya Sabha elections. Meanwhile, the Congress Party has announced its candidates from various states. The party has finalized its candidates for seats in six states.

According to the list released by the Congress, candidates have been fielded from Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana. The party leadership has finalized these names and has also attempted to strengthen its election strategy.

Congress Candidates from These States

  • Congress has nominated Phulo Devi Netam for the Rajya Sabha elections from Chhattisgarh.
  • Karamvir Singh Boudh has been fielded from Haryana.
  • Congress has nominated Anurag Sharma for Himachal Pradesh.
  • M. Christopher Tilak has been nominated from Tamil Nadu.
  • The party has announced two candidates from Telangana. Senior lawyer and current Rajya Sabha MP Abhishek Manu Singhvi has been renominated, while Vem Narender Reddy has been given the opportunity as the second candidate.
