Karnataka CM confirms 11 people died, 33 injured in Bengaluru stampede case
Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah expressed his sorrow, saying, "We are deeply saddened to hear that many people lost their lives and several others were critically injured in the stampede during the RCB team's victory celebrations at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. This tragic incident has overshadowed the joy of the victory. May the souls of the deceased rest in peace, and I wish for the speedy recovery of the injured and those receiving treatment in the hospital. Due to concerns about the potential for such a stampede and an uncontrollable crowd, the team was not allowed to participate in the victory parade."
Regarding the Bengaluru stampede, BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla stated, "The Karnataka government had halted roadshows to prevent a stampede, but it was unforeseen that this would occur outside the stadium. There should be no political blame game. Everyone should come together for damage control."
The death toll from the stampede at Chinnaswamy Stadium continues to rise. As of now, 11 people have lost their lives in this tragic incident.

Karnataka BJP President BY Vijayendra reached Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital to meet the people injured in the stampede in Bengaluru. He said, "More than 11 people have lost their lives. The state government is responsible for this tragedy and the Chief Minister should send the matter for judicial inquiry."
Rajiv Shukla said, "It was not expected that lakhs of people would reach. No one knew that so many people would gather for the league match. This accident is a lesson for us."
RCB team came out of the stadium. The program at Chinnaswamy Stadium is over. Thousands of fans are still present outside the stadium.
On the chaos during RCB celebrations, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar said, "There is no information about deaths during RCB celebrations in Bengaluru, will inform as soon as we get information. It was a young and enthusiastic crowd... we cannot use sticks. I will not blame the administration, our administration is the best."
The RCB team reached HAL Airport at 2.45 pm. After that the team went to Taj Hotel. The team reached the Vidhan Sabha at around 4.30 pm, where the state CM and Governor welcomed the team. A stampede broke out at the rear gate of the Chinnaswamy Stadium at 4 pm. The RCB team reached the stadium at 6:10 pm. The program ended at 6.30 pm and the team left
