NIA nabs 7th accused in Delhi blast case
New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has intensified its investigation into the sensational car bomb blast near Delhi's Red Fort on November 10th and has arrested another key accused.
This arrest is being considered a significant breakthrough in the case. According to the investigating agency, this newly arrested accused not only provided a hiding place to the main terrorist, Umar Un Nabi, just before the blast but also provided him with necessary logistical support.
This arrest is a major step towards solving the mystery of the terrorist conspiracy.
Serious Allegation of Shelter to Terrorist Umar Un Nabi
The arrested accused has been identified as Shoaib. He is a resident of Dhauj village in Faridabad district of Haryana. The NIA's detailed investigation has revealed that Shoaib was a close associate of terrorist Umar Un Nabi. Shoaib faces the serious allegation that he provided safe shelter to the main attacker, Umar, at his hideout just before the Red Fort bombing. Thus, Shoaib directly assisted in the execution of the terrorist plot, making him a direct participant in the conspiracy behind this deadly attack.
Shoaib's Role in Providing Logistical Support
The NIA further revealed in its investigation that Shoaib's role was not limited to providing shelter to the terrorist. He also provided Umar with all kinds of logistical support. This support included accommodation, attack-related equipment, and other vital facilities, which helped Umar complete preparations for the suicide attack. Shoaib is the seventh accused to be arrested in this case. Previously, the NIA had arrested six other close associates of the car bomber. This action is being taken under Case No. RC-21/2025/NIA/DLI.
Identification of Others Involved in the Conspiracy
NIA teams are closely following every lead related to this suicide bombing. The investigating agency is continuing to conduct raids in collaboration with local police in several states across the country to identify and apprehend other individuals involved in the attack. The agency is working to unravel the entire conspiracy behind this deadly terrorist attack. The NIA has firmly stated that the entire conspiracy will be unraveled soon and all the perpetrators will be brought to justice.
