Reshuffle of Senior IIS Officers: Kanchan Prasad Appointed as New DG of CBC

New Delhi: The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, has issued orders for the transfer and posting of three senior Indian Information Service (IIS) officers. The reshuffle includes significant changes at the top levels of key media divisions under the Ministry, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

According to official sources, Kanchan Prasad, currently serving as Director General (Media & Communication), PIB Guwahati, has been appointed as the new Director General of the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), New Delhi.

Bhupendra Kainthola, Principal Director General, Press Registrar General of India (PRGI), has been transferred as Principal Director General and In-charge of the Publications Division, New Delhi.

Meanwhile, YK Baweja, Director General, CBC, has been posted as Director General, PRGI, New Delhi.
