New Delhi: The holy month of Sawan has started from today. The month of Sawan has special significance in Hinduism. With the end of the full moon of the month of Ashadh, the month of Sawan started from July 11.

In such a situation, a huge crowd of devotees is being seen in the temples. People were seen standing in long queues in the temples since dawn. Along with this, the temples were decorated with flowers.

People are reaching the temples for worship. Along with Delhi, Varanasi, Haridwar, Ujjain, Ayodhya, people reached all the cities to visit Bhole Baba.

This time the month of Sawan will be of 29 days and it will last from July 11 to August 9. This time there will be 4 Mondays in Sawan - first 14 July, second 21 July, third 28 July and fourth 4 August.

According to mythological beliefs, Lord Shiva accepted Goddess Parvati as his wife in the month of Sawan. In such a situation, a huge crowd of devotees is being seen in the temples since the beginning of Sawan, which is going to continue throughout the month.

With the thought that Lord Shiva overcomes all difficulties by worshiping with devotion and rules on all four Mondays of Sawan, devotees reach to offer water to Bhole Baba.

By offering different things to Lord Shiva every Monday, the defects, sufferings and obstacles of life are removed. With this devotion, devotees reach to visit Bholenath.
