Weekly fast-festival

Sawan Shivratri is on 23rd July. This festival is celebrated every year on the Chaturdashi date of Krishna Paksha of Sawan month. On this day, Lord Shiva is anointed with water. At the same time, devotees also observe fast to get the blessings of Shiva. The desired wish is fulfilled by worshipping Lord Shiva.

Hariyali and Sawan Amavasya is on 24th July. On this auspicious occasion, Lord Shiva is worshipped by bathing in the Ganges. Also, Mahadev, the God of Gods, is worshipped and revered. On the day of Hariyali Amavasya, the ancestors are also offered water.

Hariyali Teej

Hariyali Teej is on 27th July. This festival is celebrated every year on the Tritiya Tithi of the Shukla Paksha of the month of Sawan. On this day, married women worship Lord Shiva to attain unbroken good fortune. Also, fasts are observed for Shiva-Shakti.

Samvar Vrat and Vinayak Chaturthi are on 28th July. This is the third Monday of the month of Sawan. Vinayak Chaturthi will also be celebrated on this auspicious occasion. Lord Shiva and Ganesha will be worshipped on this day. Also, fasts will be observed to get the desired wish.

Nag Panchami and Mangala Gauri Vrat is on 29th July. This festival is celebrated every year on the next day of Chaturthi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Sawan month. On this auspicious occasion, the snake deity is worshipped along with the Shiva family.
