IFS Officer Nagesh Singh appointed India’s next high commissioner to Australia

New Delhi: The Government of India has appointed senior Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer Nagesh Singh as the next High Commissioner of India to Australia, an official announcement said on Monday.

He is currently serving as Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Thailand and brings with him extensive diplomatic experience across key international postings. Nagesh is expected to assume charge of his new assignment in Canberra shortly.
