Amroha: Indian team's fast bowler Mohammed Shami has received a death threat. Last evening, a youth named "Rajput Sindhar" sent a mail to Mohammed Shami's mail ID and threatened to kill him, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

He received a threatening mail, in which he was threatened with death if he did not pay ₹ 1 crore. After this, he told his elder brother Haseeb Ahmed about this. This email was first seen by Shami's elder brother Mohammad Haseeb.

After this, he informed the SP of Amroha about the matter and submitted a complaint letter demanding strict action against the accused.

Shami's brother has lodged a case with the police and the crime branch team has started investigating.

According to Haseeb, Shami received the first email on the evening of May 4 and the second mail on the morning of May 5. Later, Mohammad Haseeb met Amroha SP Amit Kumar Anand and gave full information.

Shami's brother Mohammad Haseeb has informed the police about this in writing. In this case, the Cyber ​​​​Police Station has registered an FIR and started investigation.

After receiving the complaint, a report has been registered at the Cyber ​​​​Police Station of Amroha. This email was sent from an email address named "Rajput Sindhar", in which his name is mentioned as Pravahkara. Police say that the accused is being traced.

Mohammed Shami is currently busy with IPL 2025 and is a part of Sunrisers Hyderabad. Shami's performance in the current season has not been anything special. He has played six matches for the team and has taken only nine wickets.
