New Delhi: The Supreme Court has taken suo motu cognisance of recent rape cases reported in Delhi-NCR, highlighting concerns over the safety of women and children. The court observed that some incidents brought back painful memories of the 2012 Nirbhaya case and decided to examine the matter.
