Thoiba Singh signs new Odisha FC contract until 2029

Bhubaneswar: Thoiba Singh Moirangthem has signed a new contract with Odisha FC, committing his future to the club until the end of the 2028-29 season, the Indian Super League (ISL) side confirmed on Thursday.

After a challenging 2023-24 campaign where he saw limited action, the centre-back made a strong return in 2024-25, breaking into the starting line-up ahead of Narender Gahlot.

The 22-year-old, who is also capable of playing in midfield, featured in 22 ISL matches this season, including three off the bench.

Under Sergio Lobera, Singh has shown steady growth, improving his ball progression and occasionally contributing in attack. He ended the season with two assists and a goal

performances that earned him a long-term extension.

Since joining Odisha FC in 2020, Singh has played 70 ISL matches and 83 in total across competitions for the Kalinga Warriors.
