Three new Judges sworn in at Delhi High Court enhancing Bench strength to 44

The swearing-in ceremony at the High Court was attended by sitting Judges, members of the Delhi High Court Bar Association, family members of the new Judges and other distinguished members of the legal fraternity.

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court got three new Judges after Justices Dinesh Mehta, Avneesh Jhingan and Chandrasekharan Sudha took oath on Tuesday.

Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya administered the oath of office to the new Judges.

The swearing-in ceremony at the High Court was attended by sitting Judges, members of the Delhi High Court Bar Association, family members of the new Judges and other distinguished members of the legal fraternity.

After the induction of three new Judges, the strength of judges at the Delhi High Court has risen to 44. However the sanctioned strengthen of judges is 60.
