US President Donald Trump downplayed the ongoing talks with Iran, saying the US is not affected by any outcome. Outside the White House, he said, "Let's see what happens. Whether there's a deal or not, from America's perspective, we win." Trump also asserted that the US maintains its strategic advantage.
Vice President J.D. Vance, who led the US delegation, clarified that the talks failed to reach a conclusion. He said, "We tried our best, but Iran did not accept our conditions. We are returning without an agreement." Vance also added that the breakdown in talks was not due to Pakistan, which helped mediate.
Mixed weather conditions are being observed in different parts of the country.
