Today on April 3, is a nationwide public holiday on Good Friday. Consequently, there is no trading on the Indian stock market. Equity, derivatives, and currency segments are completely closed on both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE). Previously, the market was closed on March 31st due to Mahavir Jayanti, resulting in a reduction in trading days this week.
Along with the stock market, the commodity market is also closed today. Trading will be suspended on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) in both the morning and evening sessions. The National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) will also be completely closed. The MCX previously saw partial trading on March 31st, but there is no trading today due to the full holiday.
