Trump's claim on India-Pakistan tensions stirs politics in country
New Delhi: US President Donald Trump's claim to have ended the recent India-Pakistan conflict is back in the news. Trump has reiterated his claim that he ended the conflict between India and Pakistan. These claims have once again sparked political tensions in the country. Congress, targeting PM Narendra Modi, said that given the US's continued claims that Trump established peace between India and Pakistan, it's no wonder the Modi-Trump "hugloaming" has now completely cooled.

What Rubio Said at the Cabinet Meeting
It should be noted that Rubio stated at a cabinet meeting at the White House on Tuesday that for the first time in decades, American foreign policy is based solely on what makes America safe, strong, and prosperous. He praised Trump, saying that his decisions are transforming American foreign policy.
On the other hand, Trump himself has repeatedly claimed to have resolved numerous global conflicts, including those between India and Pakistan, Thailand and Cambodia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, Kosovo and Serbia, Israel and Iran, Egypt and Ethiopia, Rwanda and Congo, and the Israel-Hamas conflict. He said that eight wars have ended due to his efforts and that he plans to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict as well.
India has always made its position clear
However, India has consistently maintained that there was no third-party interference. It is worth noting that India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7th, aimed at cracking down on terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), following the April 22nd Pahalgam attack that killed 26 civilians.
