Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya narrowly escaped a major accident on Saturday. His helicopter experienced a technical malfunction just seconds after takeoff, causing smoke to fill the cabin. In response to this dangerous situation, the pilot immediately made an emergency landing at Amausi Airport. The Deputy CM is completely safe and unharmed.

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya was scheduled to arrive in Kaushambi at around 11:30 a.m. He had scheduled meetings with party officials and departmental officers there. He was also scheduled to inspect various development projects in the area. The helicopter departed from La-Matiniere Ground.

As the helicopter took off, smoke began to billow due to a technical problem. The pilot quickly assessed the situation and, with a prudent approach, made a safe emergency landing.
