Noida woman cheated Rs 3.29 Cr by cyber criminals
Noida News: Police has exposed a big cyber fraud case and arrested three accused. In this case, an elderly woman was cheated of about Rs 3.29 crore. Police has arrested two accused from Delhi and one accused from Noida. Also, the police has frozen Rs 17 lakh of the fraud.
On June 30, the elderly woman had lodged a complaint with the police that some cyber thugs had cheated her of crores by misusing her personal information through digital means.
According to the woman, the accused took her bank accounts on rent and transferred money digitally.
All three accused arrested
The cyber crime team of Noida Police took immediate action and started an in-depth investigation of the case. Investigation revealed that the accused were withdrawing money from the accounts of the elderly woman by deceiving her. With the help of digital arrest, the police identified the cyber criminal gang and arrested all three accused.
Rs 17 lakh also seized and immediately frozen
The police have also seized Rs 17 lakh from the amount of fraud from the accused and immediately frozen it. So that the victim can get justice. Interrogation of the arrested accused is going on. So that the network of the entire gang can be exposed.
