Deoria: The series of road accidents in Deoria district is not stopping. Three people lost their lives in three separate accidents in the last 18 hours, due to which a wave of mourning has spread in the entire area. High speed and negligence once again took away innocent lives and the victim families are in shock.

According to the Dynamite News correspondent, the first incident took place on Friday morning near the ghat near Parsiya Bhandari village of Sadar Kotwali area. Here a speeding vehicle hit a cyclist Dinanath Prasad (50 years).

Seriously injured Dinanath was immediately taken to Maharishi Devraha Baba Medical College, but despite all the efforts of the doctors, his life could not be saved.

Dinanath used to support his family by working as a laborer. He left behind his wife Bindu and four children. The family is inconsolable and there is an atmosphere of mourning in the village. This accident has once again raised questions on road safety.

Commander jeep hits bike

The second tragic incident took place on Friday morning in Gandhi Nagar of Bhaluani Nagar Panchayat on the Barhaj-Sonughat road.

Here, a Commander jeep hit a bike rider Rahul alias Pappu Madheshiya (28 years) in front of a petrol pump. Rahul was coming out of the petrol pump after filling petrol when this accident happened.

He was immediately taken to Maharishi Devraha Baba Medical College, but he also died during treatment. Rahul's father Bhola Madheshiya has already died and now the family has lost one more member. This incident has created anger among the local people.

Death due to collision with an unknown vehicle

While, the third incident took place near Velkunda village on Gauri Bazaar-Rudrapur road on Thursday night.

Chandrashekhar Yadav (61 years), a resident of Rudrapur Kotwali area, was going to sleep in a school after having dinner at night. An unknown vehicle hit him near the school, due to which he was seriously injured.

The people nearby immediately took him to the Community Health Center Gauri Bazar, but the doctors declared him dead. After this accident, there was chaos in Chandrashekhar's family and the family members started crying by beating their chest.

The police have started investigation in all the cases and have assured action against the culprits.
