Tehri: The number of road accidents is continuously increasing during the monsoon season. On Sunday evening, a car going from Bhaitalakhal to Rawat village suddenly lost control and fell into a deep ditch, due to which five people were seriously injured in the accident, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
On receiving the information, the injured were sent to the Community Health Center Chaund Lambgaon for treatment. Where after first aid, seeing their condition critical, they were referred to a higher center.
According to the information, on Sunday the car was going from Bhaitalakhal to Lambgaon via Rawatgaon, during which the car suddenly lost control and fell into a 60 meter deep ditch.
Nagar Panchayat President Roshan Rangad informed the police about the accident. Police station in-charge Dhamendra Singh Rautela reached the spot with the police force.
He told that the Alto (number UK-07F -1795) was coming from Bhaitalakhal towards Rawat village, which suddenly went out of control near Rawat village and fell into a 50-60 meter deep ditch. There were a total of five people in the car. People present on the spot took them out and sent them to Community Health Center Chaund Lambgaon.
Seriously injured Sapna, Tanvi, Abhishek, Sanvi were referred to a higher center.
The police said that a case has been registered and the cause of the accident is being investigated. Prima facie, the car going out of control and the condition of the road are believed to be the cause of the accident. The administration has appealed to the local people to take extra caution while driving in hilly areas during the rainy season.

It is raining continuously at many places in the state, due to which the danger has increased. The Uttarakhand administration has appealed to the travelers to postpone the journey till the weather conditions become normal. Also, it has been advised to follow the guidelines of the local administration and police during the journey.
