Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently met rising cricketer Vaibhav Suryavanshi at Patna airport, who has been selected for India's Under-19 team for the England tour. PM Modi shared the information about this meeting on his ex (former Twitter) handle.

He not only talked to Vaibhav but also met his parents and congratulated them. PM Modi praised Vaibhav's cricket skills and said that he is an inspiration for the youth of the country.

The PM also wrote that he is very happy to meet such talented youth. During this meeting, PM Modi also shared some pictures with Vaibhav and his family, in which he was seen talking to them, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Apart from meeting PM Modi, Vaibhav Suryavanshi also touched PM Modi's feet and took his blessings. The meeting was not only an unforgettable moment for Vaibhav, but it also became an inspirational message for young players across the country.

Stormy entry in the cricket world

Vaibhav Suryavanshi has made his stormy entry into the cricket world. Vaibhav, who hails from the Samastipur district of Bihar, made his IPL debut at the age of just 14.

Rajasthan Royals expressed confidence in him and gave him a chance to play in seven matches in IPL 2025.

The left-handed batsman maintained the confidence of the franchise with his brilliant batting and scored 252 runs in seven matches with the help of a century and a half-century. Vaibhav soon became famous for his stormy innings.

History made in IPL

Vaibhav Suryavanshi made his place in the hearts of the people when he completed a century in just 35 balls against Gujarat Titans. Vaibhav Suryavanshi became the fastest Indian player to score a century in IPL. He scored 101 runs in 38 balls in this match, which included seven fours and 11 sixes. This match was played in Jaipur on 28 April 2025.

IPL made him a millionaire.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi was bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 1.10 crore. His base price was Rs 30 lakh. There was a competition between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals to buy Vaibhav. Rajasthan finally won and made Vaibhav a part of the squad. Vaibhav was just 13 years old at the time of the IPL 2025 mega auction.
