North 24 Parganas: Barasat Police District Superintendent of Police Pratiksha Jharkhandia said that a person was seriously injured in the blast and was taken to Barasat Medical College and Hospital, where he died.

The condition of 86-year-old Asaram, who is serving life sentence in the rape case, remains critical at present. Due to this, he was brought to Ahmedabad Civil Hospital on Monday morning for medical examination.

Eight people died in a horrific collision between two cars near Surendranagar in Gujarat.
