New Delhi: The weather in Delhi may take a sudden turn on March 15, 2026. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the sky is expected to remain mostly cloudy during the morning and early afternoon hours. Light rain or drizzle accompanied by thunder and lightning may occur in some areas, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
The maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be around 33°C, while the minimum temperature may stay close to 17°C. The day may feel slightly warm, but clouds and winds could make the weather pleasant at times.
The IMD has also predicted strong winds blowing at 30–40 km/h, with gusts possibly reaching 50 km/h in some places. People are advised to stay cautious during strong winds and carry an umbrella while stepping out.
In Noida, the sky is likely to remain partly cloudy. The IMD forecasts one or two spells of light rain or thundershowers during the day. Wind speeds could also reach 30–40 km/h. Temperatures are expected to remain around 27°C (maximum) and 16°C (minimum).
Lucknow may experience mostly clear weather during the daytime. However, clouds could increase gradually, and light rain may occur in the evening or night. The maximum temperature may reach 32°C, while the minimum could stay around 17°C.
The cities of Varanasi and Prayagraj are expected to see clear skies throughout the day. Varanasi may record temperatures of about 33°C/18°C, while Prayagraj could reach 34°C/19°C. Bright sunshine during the afternoon may cause mild heat.
Kanpur is likely to have mostly clear weather with temperatures near 33°C/18°C. Meanwhile, Ayodhya may remain cloudy with chances of light rainfall, which could make roads slippery.
In Bhopal, Indore, and Ujjain, the weather is expected to stay clear and sunny. Temperatures could rise to 36–37°C, making the afternoons feel quite hot.
