New Delhi: The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rainfall on Monday. Due to this, a drop in temperature can be seen in the next two to three days.

The Meteorological Department has predicted that it will be generally cloudy on Monday. There are chances of thunderstorms, lightning and light to moderate rainfall. The maximum and minimum temperatures may remain 34 and 27 degrees Celsius respectively. For the next few days, the heat is likely to remain mild and the temperature may also keep falling.

The maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded at 37.5 degrees Celsius, which is 2.6 degrees above normal. The minimum temperature was 28.8 degrees Celsius, 1.5 degrees above normal. The humidity level in the air was recorded at 87 to 59 percent. As far as rainfall is concerned, there was light rain at some places in the morning, but the weather remained dry throughout the day.

Amid seasonal fluctuations, humid heat was again felt in Delhi on Sunday. The temperature was also two and a half degrees above normal.

On the other hand, due to the kindness of the weather, the pollution level is currently under control. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi's AQI was recorded at 85 on Sunday. It is placed in the satisfactory category. The AQI of the cities of NCR is also in the satisfactory category at some places and in the moderate category at others.
