New Delhi: BJP MP from Himachal Pradesh's Mandi and actor Kangana Ranaut slamed at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his ‘vote chori’ claim today on Thursday.

Speaking with media outside the Parliament, Kangana Ranaut said that the Opposition always says elections are rigged when they do not win and when they win everything is fine.

Numerous states throughout the nation hold elections. According to the BJP MP sometimes their results go against us and the Opposition comes to power.

Everything is fine when their (opposition) government wins in Punjab and Karnataka but they call it rigging when we win she continued. Rahul Gandhi accuses us of vote chori.

Rahul Gandhi a Congress leader and the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha claimed on Thursday that the Election Commission was conspiring with the BJP to steal elections and that this was a crime against the Constitution. He supported his assertions with data from the 2024 general elections in a Karnataka Lok Sabha constituency.

What Rahul Gandhi Said?

Rahul Gandhi stated that Elections used to be held nationwide on the same day before there was an electronic voting machine. However elections now last for months. What is the rationale behind the current division of voting into stages? He characterized it as a deliberate delay to allow the BJP to exploit the administrative framework. He claims that the Election Commission favors the BJP and is unfair.

"Major Difference Between Exit Poll And Result?"

Giving the example of elections in Haryana and Madhya Pradesh, Rahul said that "exit polls and opinion polls indicate an outcome, but in the end the result becomes something else." He claimed that the internal survey of the Congress is also correct, but the result comes upside down.

His question: "Is EVM being rigged?"

"Where Did 1 Crore New Voters Come From?"

Rahul also questioned the Maharashtra assembly elections: "1 crore new voters were added in just 5 months, which is more than the average of the last 5 years."

He alleged that "the Election Commission did not give the voter list, which creates doubt that it has been rigged." He also said that "we lost in the assembly elections but won in the Lok Sabha. It proves that EVM was disturbed."
