New Delhi: The country lost a brave soldier, Corporal Tage Hailyang, of the Air Force in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

He had gone to Pahalgam for a honeymoon with his wife. During this time, a terrorist attack took place in which 28 people lost their lives. Tej Heliang was also one of them.

From the Air Force to the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Pima Khandu, everyone has expressed grief over his death.

30-year-old Corporal Tage Hailyang was a resident of Tajang village in the Lower Suban Series district of Arunachal Pradesh.

He was posted at the Air Force base in Srinagar and had come to Pahalgam with his wife on leave. He got married in December.

According to reports, Heliang's father Tej Ted is the Sarpanch of a village in Arunachal Pradesh. As soon as the news of his son's death at the hands of terrorists was heard, people started gathering at his house.

Heliang graduated in Humanities and joined the Indian Air Force about 7 to 8 years ago.

On Heliang's death, the Air Force wrote in a post.

"All the air warriors of the Indian Air Force express their deep condolences on the death of Corporal Tage Hailyang in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam and express their condolences to his family in this hour of immense grief. The Indian Air Force stands in solidarity with all the families who lost their loved ones in this attack and prays for the speedy recovery of those injured."

On the death of Tech Heliang, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Bema Khandu also posted a social media post and expressed grief over his death.

Arunachal CM wrote

"Deeply saddened by the demise of Corporal Tej Haliang of the Indian Air Force. This brave son of Arunachal Pradesh belonged to Tajang village in Lower Subanseri.

He had gone on a trip to Pahalgam with his wife. During this time, he lost his life in a terrorist attack. He served the nation with courage and honor, and his untimely demise is an irreparable loss not only to his family but to the entire country.

Our condolences are with his loved ones. Especially his wife, who survived this horrific incident. May God give them strength and solace in this hour of unbearable grief. We will always remember the service and sacrifice of Corporal Haliang."
