Vadodara: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a roadshow in Vadodara on Monday morning after arriving in Gujarat on a two-day visit. PM Modi was given a grand welcome at Vadodara airport at around 10 am on Monday, and he held a kilometer-long roadshow till the Air Force station. After this, he inaugurated the Indian Railways' locomotive manufacturing plant in Dahod.

According to Dynamite News correspondent, the Prime Minister also flagged off the first electric engine manufactured at the plant and addressed a public meeting. During this, the PM told why the date of May 26 is special for him. Addressing a public meeting in Dahod, Prime Minister Modi said, "Today is 26 May. On this date in 2014, I took an oath as Prime Minister for the first time.

Day and night in the service of the countrymen...

The PM said that the people of Gujarat first blessed him and then crores of Indians blessed him. He also said that all of you people of Gujarat blessed me a lot, and later crores of people of the country also left no stone unturned in blessing me.

He said that it is with the power of their blessings that PM Modi is engaged in serving the countrymen day and night. In these years, the country has taken such decisions that are unimaginable and unprecedented.

The country came out of the darkness of despair and became confident.

Further, the PM said that whatever is necessary for the progress of the country, make it in India itself, because this is the big demand of the time. India is moving ahead at a fast pace in the world of manufacturing today.

Whether it is the production of goods needed by the country or the export of goods made in our country to different countries of the world, the goods made in our country are being sold in different countries of the world. Exports are increasing continuously.

PM Modi said, Today the country has come out of the darkness of despair and is hoisting the tricolor in the light of self-confidence. Today we 140 crore Indians are working with full strength to make our country a developed India.
