New Delhi: Delhi is likely to experience extremely hot weather conditions over the coming days, with temperatures expected to remain well above normal levels. On Saturday, the minimum temperature is forecast to stay around 33 degrees Celsius, while the maximum could reach 42 degrees Celsius, making for a sweltering day across the city.

According to the latest weather forecast, warm conditions are expected to persist throughout the day, with the mercury hovering near 33 degrees Celsius during morning and evening hours before climbing sharply in the afternoon.

Hot Winds to Add to Discomfort

Weather conditions are expected to remain dry, accompanied by moderate winds moving at approximately 10.35 kmph. Wind gusts could reach up to 13.68 kmph, blowing from a westerly direction at around 258 degrees. These hot winds may contribute to increased discomfort and heat stress, particularly during peak daytime hours.

Sunrise and Sunset Timings

Residents can expect the sun to rise at 5:22 AM and set at 7:16 PM on Saturday, resulting in long daylight hours that could further intensify heating across the region.

Temperatures Likely to Peak Midweek

The seven-day forecast indicates a steady rise in temperatures over the next several days. After Saturday’s expected high of 42°C, temperatures could climb to 43°C on Sunday and 45°C on Monday. The mercury is then forecast to touch 46°C on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday before easing slightly to 44°C on Friday.

With prolonged hot weather expected, residents are advised to stay hydrated, limit outdoor activities during afternoon hours, and take necessary precautions against heat-related illnesses.
