World Mourns Delhi Blast: US, Russia Condemn Attack; Iran, Israel Express Solidarity

New Delhi: The massive explosion that occurred near Delhi's Red Fort Metro station on Monday evening has shocked not only India but the entire world. So far, 12 people have died in the blast, while more than 20 others are injured. Following the incident, security agencies have issued a nationwide alert. Security has been increased in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Mumbai. US and Russia express deep condolences The US Embassy in India expressed condolences over the Delhi blast, saying, "Our thoughts are with all the families affected by this terrible incident. Our deepest condolences are with those who lost loved ones." Red Fort closed for visitors till Nov 13 after Delhi blast prompts security lockdown The US has also issued a security alert for its citizens living in India. Meanwhile, Russian Ambassador Denis Alipov wrote, "We are shocked by the explosion near the Red Fort. We are confident that the investigating agencies will bring the perpetrators to justice. Russia stands with the families of the victims." Iran and Israel Express Condolences Israeli Ambassador to India Reuven Azar wrote on Twitter, "The images of the Delhi blast are extremely painful. We express our condolences to the families of the deceased and wish the injured a speedy recovery." The Iranian Embassy also expressed condolences, saying, "We stand with the families affected by this tragic incident and pray for the speedy recovery of the injured." Asian Countries Also Support India Maldives President Mohammed Muizzu expressed solidarity with the people of India, saying, "The Maldives stands with India in this difficult time." Nepal Prime Minister Sushila Karki wrote, "Shocked by the horrific explosion in Delhi. Nepal stands with India in this hour of grief." Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said, “Any violence targeting innocent people is unacceptable.” Delhi Red Fort Blast: Death toll rises to 13, multiple injured; Partial victim list released Reactions from China, Sri Lanka, and Singapore Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said at a press briefing, “We are shocked by this incident and express solidarity with India.” Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath said, “Sri Lanka stands with the people of India in this difficult time.” Singapore High Commissioner Simon Wong strongly condemned the attack, calling it an “act of terrorism.”
