Uttarakhand: Tragic road accident in Karnaprayag region claims life of renowned painter and teacher Mahendra Bhandari

Karnaprayag: Uttarakhand lost a renowned painter, an experimentalist, and an energetic personality on Wednesday. Famous artist and innovative teacher Mahendra Singh Bhandari died in a heartbreaking accident in Karnaprayag tehsil of Chamoli district.

The road accident occurred on the Ujwalpur Jaspaur Dungri motorway. Teacher Mahendra Singh Bhandari was going to pick up his wife on his scooter. The 55-year-old Bhandari, along with his scooter, fell from the bridge into a gorge and died a painful death on the spot.

The deceased Mahendra Singh Bhandari was a resident of Ratuda village under Karnaprayag tehsil and was currently posted at Rajkiya Inter College Kedarkhal. People are stunned by Bhandari's sudden demise, and mourning has spread among all the teachers working with him and in his village.
