BJP Celebrates Article 370 Abrogation Anniversary Across J&K, Holds Major Event in Anantnag (Img: Dynamite News )
Anantnag: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday celebrated the seventh anniversary of the scrapping of Articles 370 and 35A with the help of a celebration programme held at Anantnag in south Kashmir.
The function was graced by top BJP leaders along with workers and supporters of the party who termed this move of the government as an important step in the process of national integration of Jammu and Kashmir.
Speaking at the meeting, BJP officials stated that the abrogation of the special constitutional provision had made the process of integrating Jammu and Kashmir with the rest of India much more rapid. They argued that it has helped in accelerating the development of infrastructure, good governance and the expansion of welfare programs as well as making new avenues for investments and jobs.

Moreover, some other measures taken by the government during the last several years were pointed out. It was stressed that welfare services have been provided to all people regardless of any discrimination. People were asked to actively participate in the development of their homeland.

The programme was conducted as a part of a series of programmes held in J&K by the BJP on the occasion of the 7th anniversary of the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A.
