New Delhi: After the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan from the post of Union Education Minister, CJP ended its 37-day protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. The CJP has come under fresh scrutiny after a video went viral on X showing CJP leaders dancing and celebrating Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation as Union Education Minister.
The viral video shows CJP spokesperson Saurav Das, Ashutosh Ranka, and other members dancing following the end of the protest.
BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Mahesh Jethmalani has shared the video of CJP leaders dancing. He criticised the leaders for throwing a victory party at a hotel after the national capital witnessed days of violence.
He wrote, “Seriously? The CJP leadership throwing a victory party at a hotel! After Delhi witnessed days of violence, these so-called youth activists switched on the music and began dancing."

CJP's Gen Z Response To Critics

CJP spokesperson Saurav Das defended the celebration videos. He responded to the criticism, saying, “We can sit on the road for as long as it takes. We can protest while dancing. We can organise while sipping cold coffee. We can fight for change without looking the way previous generations think a movement should look (no shade on anyone!)," he added. "That’s just how this generation is. Confident, creative, resilient, and IMPOSSIBLE to stereotype. The uncles and aunties can keep complaining. They’ll just have to deal with us!”
