“Ram Temple Donation Theft Hurt People’s Sentiments”: Dimple Yadav Demands Answers Over Alleged Mismanagement

SP MP Dimple Yadav raised questions over alleged Ram Temple donation irregularities, saying the issue has hurt people’s sentiments and demanding transparency over donations, ornaments and land deal allegations.

New Delhi: The MP from the Samajwadi Party, Dimple Yadav on Tuesday, brought up the matter of donations and precious metal and ornament-related scams associated with the Ram Temple, arguing that the issue has offended the sentiments of devotees all over the country.

Addressing media outside the Parliament, Dimple Yadav pointed out that people have the right to be informed about the missing donations and asked where the donations went.

As per Dimple Yadav, the Ram Temple holds a lot of emotional and spiritual significance for millions of people and the donations given by these devotees should be managed in a transparent manner.

Additionally, she pointed out the charges that were raised concerning land transactions linked to the temple project and called for some transparency in these financial dealings. As per her, this was a grave matter in the context of sentiments of people who have donated for the temple.

In this connection, the SP leader clarified that her party would keep raising this matter.

Attack on BJP Government by Shivpal Yadav

MLA from Samajwadi Party, Shivpal Yadav also made criticisms against the BJP government and stated that there was misuse of funds.

According to him, there is always some money left out which is not used properly and also that there had been some financial misconduct in different places including temples.

Opposition Protest Stirs Up Trouble in Parliament

Following the issue, arguments erupted in Parliament when the president of Congress and Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge brought up the allegation regarding Ram Temple donations during Zero Hour in Rajya Sabha.

This caused a protest among the NDA members who said that the opposition had shown contempt towards Lord Ram. There was some disruption in proceedings as members from both sides chanted slogans.

The Opposition lawmakers, including Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Dimple Yadav along with other leaders, also held protests outside Parliament over the issue of donations and other controversies.

They placed donation boxes as a form of symbolism and asked for clarifications from the government regarding their allegations.
