Opposition stages walkout from all-party meet (Img: X)
New Delhi: Leaders of the INDIA bloc briefly walked out of the Centre’s all-party meeting on Sunday to protest against separate seating and an invitation extended to a group of rebel Trinamool Congress MPs ahead of Parliament’s Monsoon Session.
The Opposition leaders later returned and rejoined the discussions, describing their exit as a symbolic protest against what they alleged was premature recognition of the breakaway group.

The controversy began after representatives of the National Citizens Party of India, comprising around 20 former TMC MPs, were provided a separate table at the meeting convened by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju.
