New Delhi: Bhai Dooj, also known as Yama Dwitiya, is the final festival of the five-day Diwali celebration. Yamuna replied, "In the future, whenever a sister applies tilak to her brother on this day, may your blessings bestow long life and happiness and prosperity upon him."
Yamaraj granted her this boon, and since then, this festival has been celebrated as Yama Dwitiya.
