Four Navratris In A Year

According to Hindu mythology, this festival carries special significance with four Navratris celebrated in a year, each marking a different season. The two main ones are Chaitra Navratri (spring) and Shardiya Navratri (autumn). The remaining two are observed as Gupt Navratris: Magha Navratri (winter) and Ashadha Navratri (monsoon).

Auspicious Time For Kalash Sthapana

Kalash Sthapana can be done from 6.09 am to 8.06 am. If Ghat Sthapana is to be done in the afternoon, then Abhijeet Muhurta will be from 11.49 pm to 12.38 pm. This time is considered very auspicious for installation.

Shardiya Navratri Will Be Of 10 Days This Year

According to the Panchang, this year one date is being lost in Shradh Paksha and one date is being increased in Navratri. Therefore, this time Navratri will not be of nine days, but of 10 days. Especially in Shardiya Navratri, Chaturthi Tithi has increased, which is considered very auspicious and fruitful. Along with this, the time of arrival of Mata is also very auspicious, due to which the effect of Navratri will bring auspiciousness and prosperity. For this reason Kalash Sthapana will be done on 22 September.

Importance Of Mata's Ride

The arrival and departure of Maa Durga happens according to the day of the week. This time Navratri is starting from 22 September i.e. Monday. If the Pratipada of Navratri falls on Monday or Sunday, then Maa Durga arrives riding an elephant. Arriving on an elephant is considered an auspicious sign, which brings happiness, prosperity and good fortune throughout the year.

Thus, this time Sharadiya Navratri is being considered especially auspicious and fruitful.
