Hyderabad: In a moment of pride for Telangana, Soumya Mishra, IPS, Director General of Prisons & Correctional Services, was honored today by the World Book of Records, London, at a formal ceremony at Jail Bhavan for her outstanding contributions to police services and welfare reforms, reflecting exemplary leadership and dedication to public service.
The recognition highlights her transformative initiatives in policing and correctional administration, particularly her efforts in modernizing prison systems and promoting welfare-oriented reformative practices.
On this occasion, C. Vamsi Mohan Reddy, Deputy Superintendent of Police, was awarded a Certification of Appreciation by the World Book of Records, London, for his multifaceted contributions to sports, religious service and public administration.
The awards were presented by Vikram Trivedi, Director General, World Book of Records, and Shakti Tiwari, Adjudicator and Secretary of the organization.
