Dubai: In the Asia cup 2025, India is the first team to qualify for super-4 with one match remaining. In the tournament India is performing strongly and won both matches played in the tournament and has collected four points and is at the top of the points table of Group A.

India Is On Top

India has won both the matches played so far and has collected four points and is at the top of the points table of Group A. Team India will now take on Oman on 19 September. Oman's team has lost both its opening matches and is now out of the race for the Super-4. In such a situation, even if India loses to Oman, it will still qualify for the next stage by staying in the top two.

UAE vs Pakistan Match

Who will be the second team to go from Group A to the Super-4 will be decided by the match between Pakistan and UAE on 17 September. Both teams currently have two points each. UAE's win has kept their hopes of making it to the Super-4 alive. Now the match against Pakistan will be a do or die for UAE. If they win and the Indian team defeats Oman, then UAE's entry into the Super-4 will be confirmed.

Situation Of Pakistan

India is already on top after defeating both UAE and Pakistan. Pakistan and UAE have won one match each so far. In such a situation, the match to be held on 17 September will be a do or die for both the teams. If UAE defeats Pakistan, then its chances of reaching the Super-4 will increase. Although Pakistan is in a slightly stronger position in terms of net run rate, but cricket is a game of uncertainties, one upset can change everything.

UAE Thrashed Oman

Talking about the match, UAE captain Muhammad Wasim and opener Alishan Sharafu gave the team a strong start by scoring half-centuries. On the basis of their innings, UAE scored 172 runs for 5 wickets in the stipulated overs. Muhammad Wasim played an innings of 69 runs in 54 balls. He hit 6 fours and 3 sixes in his innings.

At the same time, Alishan Sharafu played an innings of 51 runs with the help of 7 fours and 1 six. In reply to UAE's score, Oman's team could not stand in front of Junaid Siddiqui's deadly bowling and collapsed for 130 runs in 18.4 overs. Siddiqui took 4 wickets for 23 runs. Haider Ali and Muhammad Jawadullah took 2-2 wickets each.
