Ahmedabad: Gujarat Titans will play a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Narendra Modi Stadium today. In the last match, the Titans had to face defeat due to the brilliant performance of Rajasthan Royals' young batsmen Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Especially the 14-year-old Suryavanshi's century in 35 balls changed the course of the match. However, Gujarat Titans is still in a strong position in the playoff race, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Gujarat Titans have won 6 out of 9 matches so far and are in the top four in the points table with 12 points. They need only two more wins from the next five matches to reach the playoffs. At the same time, winning every match has now become imperative for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

With only 3 wins in 9 matches, they are at the bottom of the points table, and today's defeat could cause them to be knocked out of the tournament.

The batting order of the Titans has performed brilliantly this season. Sai Sudarshan has won the Orange Cap by scoring 456 runs, while captain Shubman Gill (389 runs) and Jos Buttler (406 runs) have also contributed well.

In bowling, Prasidh Krishna, Mohammed Siraj, and Ishant Sharma have strengthened the team. Spinner Rashid Khan has also returned to his form in recent matches.

The Hyderabad team is performing disappointingly this season. Their main batsmen, Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma, are not in form.

Head has scored only one half-century in the last eight innings, while Abhishek Sharma is also consistently scoring low.

The middle-order batsmen have also not supported the team, putting additional pressure on young Aniket Verma. Harshal Patel has performed well in bowling, but Pat Cummins and Mohammed Shami have not lived up to expectations.

The Ahmedabad pitch is expected to be batsman-friendly. The team winning the toss may decide to bat first. The weather is expected to remain clear, with play expected to be uninterrupted throughout the match.

Today's match is an opportunity for Gujarat Titans to take another step towards the playoffs, while for Sunrisers Hyderabad, it could prove to be the last chance to stay in the tournament. An exciting competition can be seen between the two teams.
