Early Setback for India

The Indian opener scored 48 runs off 39 deliveries, including four boundaries and two sixes, before being bowled by Afghanistan's star spinner Rashid Khan.

Captain Shubman Gill continued his outstanding form with a commanding century. The right-hander remained unbeaten on 145 runs from 103 balls, anchoring the innings while maintaining an impressive scoring rate.

Gill's knock was studded with elegant boundaries and aggressive stroke play, keeping Afghanistan on the back foot throughout the innings.
